We are extremely pleased to be welcoming Ryan Gardner as a new member to our team.
Ryan has been working with us in a freelance capacity for several years and due to the increase in work he has now joined us full time - lucky for us!
For the past four years, Ryan has been working for Royal Caribbean as a Theatre Sound technician. He has had the privilege of mixing Broadway shows, such as Grease and Hairspray, whilst being able to travel the world. This has involved media production, sound and lighting, alongside more skills that Ryan is bringing into the Company.
"This is such great news and we are so pleased that we are now in a position to grow our team as we prepare for the future. Ryan, and his specialist media skills, will be such a benefit as we move into the hybrid era. As a company we are serious about the future, and have managed the choppy waters well, emerging out the other side as a tight, strong unit."
Ryan said, "I have been working with the team at Talking Slides, on and off for many, many years as a freelancer and I was so excited to be given the opportunity to join the company as a full-time employee. Primarily my main areas of expertise are in live sound and video editing and production, however, I am really looking forward to expanding my skill sets and learning other disciplines in this amazing industry. I have studied at dBs Music in Plymouth, I have an FdA in Live sound and a BA in Music Production. After completing my studies, I was fortunate enough have the opportunity to work for two years running on the pyramid stage at Glastonbury. I have spent the last four years working for the Royal Caribbean and am now looking forward to being a part of Talking Slides."
