This is an amazing opportunity for the right person to gain new skills and experiences, whilst expanding on any existing ones – ideal for college or university graduates or those returning to the industry.
We are an enthusiastic, motivated, family-run physical and e-conference production company, with offices in Totnes and Dartington and have been running for nearly 30 years. Please do take a good look around our website and socials to find out a little more about us.
We are very proud to produce amazing and varied events, both in the virtual and physical world. Most of our physical and hybrid events take place around the country and sometimes further afield, so a willingness to travel including nights away is a must.
All training for the industry-specific skills will be provided but we are looking for a team player willing to get involved with everything, with an awesome attitude, great communication ability and good people skills to integrate with our existing and established team who have been with us for many years.
No two days are the same. Tasks and responsibilities will be wide, varied and exciting, with lots of opportunities for growth and development for a proactive candidate, from admin and warehousing to e-conference creation, technical support at conferences and events far and wide, basic video editing and more.
Duties:
Duties will include (but are not limited to) the following – we don’t expect any candidate to possess all the skills we are looking for, but an eagerness to learn is critical:
- AV Technical Support (Sound, Lighting, Graphics, Camera Work etc.)
- Warehousing/Administration
- Presentation Recording
- Basic Video Editing
- E-Conference Production
- Supporting In-House Project Managers
- Driving, Loading & Unloading Company Vans/Vehicles
We are a company built around technology, so pre-existing basic IT skills are essential, as is a desire to learn and a clean driving licence. Also due to the location of our offices, own transport will also be required.
The working hours will be based around a 44 hour week, but the diversity of our business will require flexibility of hours. When working from our HQ hours will be Monday to Friday 9am- 5pm but during busy times flexibility is critical and will include frequent nights away. Any overtime worked will be repaid as time in lieu with an option of payment in certain situations.
Starting Salary: This will depend somewhat on experience, but this is likely to be a minimum of £24,000 (to be reviewed after a 3-month probationary period) plus generous allowances for any nights away.
Immediate start.
