The annual Edinburgh International Trauma Symposium was held virtually for the first time in 2020.
On a dedicated Talking Slides e-conference website, delegates were invited to browse and interact with a library of over 100 freshly produced presentations at their leisure, from the comfort of their home or office.
In an unprecedented way, delegates were able to join both the ‘Trauma Course’ and ‘Trauma Symposium’ sides of this event simultaneously, rather than having to choose between them, giving them access to a wealth of educational content.

It was so well presented in comparison to other online events (audio was perfect, internet connection ran so smoothly! so easy to log in!). Being online is mandatory currently due to Covid; but for the future, having the “online option” may help many more people to attend.
